Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use Nuglet only with that consent. Give accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account unless caused by our failure to protect it.
Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
Nuglet offers recurring subscriptions. The price, billing period, trial terms, and renewal details shown before purchase form part of these terms. Web purchases are processed by Stripe. Purchases in the iOS and Android apps are processed by Apple or Google and may use RevenueCat to keep your Nuglet access in sync. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your subscription renews automatically and the payment provider charges the payment method on file.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a web subscription from your Nuglet account and an app-store subscription through Apple or Google. Cancellation stops future renewals and paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period. Refund requests for app-store purchases are handled by the relevant store. Contact Nuglet support about web purchases. Nothing here limits a refund, withdrawal, or cancellation right that applies by law.
Completed Nuglets and your Shelf
Completed Nuglets stay yours.
A Nuglet you complete remains available in your Shelf without an active subscription, so you can return to its story, audio, visual, practice, and sources. This access depends on keeping your account open and on Nuglet continuing to operate the relevant service. It is a personal access promise, not a transfer of copyright or permission to redistribute the content.
Your licence to use Nuglet
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nuglet and access its content for your own non-commercial learning. Nuglet and its content remain protected by intellectual-property law. You may not sell, republish, publicly display, mirror, remove ownership notices from, or create a competing service from Nuglet content. You may not reverse engineer the service except where law expressly allows it.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Nuglet, interfere with its operation, access another person’s account, bypass access controls, introduce harmful code, scrape the service at scale, or use the service in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep Nuglet available, but the service may sometimes be interrupted, changed, or withdrawn. We may update features, formats, lesson availability, or prices. If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will provide notice when required and respect any cancellation or refund rights that apply.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Nuglet or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to law, address non-payment, or deal with a serious or repeated breach of these terms. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Educational information
Nuglet provides general educational information. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Nuglet is provided with reasonable care, but we cannot promise that every part of the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Applicable law and disputes
Applicable law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections and access to courts or dispute-resolution bodies available where you live. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Nuglet or the law changes. We will update the date on this page and provide additional notice when a change materially affects an active subscription or your rights. Continuing to use Nuglet after the effective date means the updated terms apply, subject to your mandatory rights.
